Based on the popular flavour combination of chocolate and orange, these cupcakes have the added ingredient ginger which gives a pleasant and delicate hint of spice and warmth whilst complimenting the other flavours. A moist orange infused chocolate sponge is filled with marmalade before being topped with a ginger buttercream. These cupcakes are finished off with a drizzle of chocolate and a meringue decoration embellished with gold leaf.
