DELIVERY POLICY

 The delivery fee quoted on your order request is a rough guide, a more accurate delivery fee will be quoted on the invoice upon confirmation of your order request. Deliveries are made on the date and time specified on your invoice. All of our deliveries are undertaken by Picup and delivery charges are calculated depending on your location. Cape Cakes can not be held responsible for any damage incurred once your order has left our premises and is in transit. If in the unlikely event damage is caused we will of course investigate  the situation and mend any damage that can be fixed.

CANCELLATION POLICY & REFUNDS

If you need to change an order or cancel it altogether please contact us as far in advance as possible.

 

Cancellation Time Frame (standard range)

7 days in advance = Full refund

4-6 days in advance = 50% refund

3 days or less = no refund

Custom cake cancellation time frame for designs including gumpaste decorations:

10 days in advance = Full refund

8-9 days in advance = 50% refund

7 days in advance or less= no refund

Please note these days do not include the collection/delivery date

ORDERS

Payment is needed to confirm all online orders and until payment is received orders cannot be guaranteed. All our cakes and bakes are made to order and we do not accept returns. Refunds or replacement orders to the same value will be given in the unlikely event that you receive an incorrect order or the product is deemed to be of an unsatisfactory standard. Should this be the case you should contact Cape Cakes within 24 hours of receiving your order, we cannot be liable for complaints made after this time.

AVAILABILITY

In order to consistently maintain a high quality of work we only take on a limited amount of orders each day, based on a first come first serve basis. To avoid any disappointment we recommend ordering as far in advance as possible.
